What Quran Says about The Most Revered one (pbuh)

Allah (sw) the most high has said in the Glorious Quran that o you who have faith, don’t say Raina but say humbly, o the beloved of Allah (SW) “look upon us”. And listen from the beginning very carefully. And for the disbelievers there is grievous torment.  The Most Revered one

Commentary of this Ayah

Tafseer: The Most revered and the Most generous Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) used to deliver his blessed speech to the companions so some times if they can’t understand any sentence they used to say that Raina which means o the most revered Prophet of Allah (sw) do Riyaat upon us. In the language of Jews, the very same word was used to abuse one another. They were the enemy of Islam. Jews began to say that word for Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him). A great companion named Saad Bin Maad (ra) had a knowledge about their language. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) When Hazrat Saad Bin Maad heard that word from Jews, he (ra) had said I will chop off your head if you have used the same word again for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him). In return Jews replied that the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) used the same word too for Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him).  Allah (SW) then revealed that verse that o Jibrial (as) go and take this message to my beloved that they don’t used that word for Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) say like this “Look upon us” o our Master (peace and blessing be upon him)   Dear Islamic Brothers and sister  Allah (sw) has changed the word in which there was a chance of disrespect his Beloved Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and belssing be upon him) they couldn’t even imagine to disrespect of Holy Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him).Last Prophet of Allah In the language of Arabic, they used to say Raina which means, O the Beloved of Allah (sw) do Ria’at upon us. But in the language of Jews the word Raina was used to abuse on another.   Ria’at is an Urdu Word. Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) used that word with the intention of respect. Allah (SW) can’t even bear if there is a word which has double meaning one is good and one is bad even though if your intention is purred. You can’t use that word for Allah (SW) and for his Beloved (peace and blessing be upon him).
